“Less Is More” is the latest song from Gary Schwartz, former drummer of The United States of Existence andThe Jigsaw Seen. This latest song features all of the original members of The United States of Existence,including Dennis Davison courtesy of The Jigsaw Seen as well as Gary’s long-time musical collaborator and friend, Mark O’Keefe.
Gary sought to revive a song of his that originated in the 1980s. Basic tracks were recorded back then. Those tracks were restored and embellished with new tracks recorded in 2018 and 2019. The result is a melding of then and now, with a prominent nod to harmony legends The Association.Their inclusion on the 1986 USE track “Anything Goes”provided the vocal influence and impetus on this new tune.
